Our inspiring beginning
RedThread LLC was born from the vision of an 11-year-old boy navigating mental health challenges. He imagined a way to bring joy to others while simultaneously helping his community. This powerful idea evolved into mystery boxes of joy and surprise as well as providing high-quality, second-hand shopping that combats overconsumption and support meaningful causes. Your purchase helps us continue this journey of giving back.

With a decade of experience in social services and a personal history of overcoming addiction and chronic homelessness, our founder is deeply committed to giving back. Proceeds from RedThread LLC directly support local initiatives, helping youth struggling with severe mental health find joy and purpose in life. Every purchase you make contributes to these vital efforts.
Stories of tangible impact
We are incredibly proud of the direct impact we've made. Last winter, we distributed five cooler backpacks filled with food and hygiene essentials to individuals experiencing homelessness. We've also helped four women transition from domestic violence situations to self-sufficiency and established a supportive group where youth can belong and learn new skills. With your help, we aspire to do even more.
